What is RFMS E-Commerce?

RFMS E-Commerce (EC) is an add-on module that extends RFMS ERP workflows by supporting automated and semi-automated document exchange between a dealer and one or more suppliers. The connection used for these exchanges is the FCB2B Standard, commonly referred to as B2B.

E-Commerce receives and organizes B2B documents, and RFMS ERP remains the system where the product file, purchase orders, and accounting workflows are ultimately managed.

Trading Partner Agreement

Some suppliers require a Trading Partner Agreement (TPA) before they will exchange documents through E-Commerce. A TPA describes the general terms and conditions under which the parties agree to exchange information.

B2B Standard

Under the flooring B2B standard, the documents exchanged typically include:

Product Catalogs Supplier product details and pricing updates
Purchase Orders Dealer orders sent to suppliers
Invoices Supplier billing documents
Advance Ship Notices Shipment details sent ahead of delivery
