Some downloaded catalog records may not include a Product Code. If you do not wish to keep these records you can tag them so they can be deleted in bulk from the download screen.
When to use this
Use this cleanup method when:
- You have download records you do not intend to import, and
- The records cannot be selected using your normal workflow because the Product Code is blank.
Delete records with a blank Product Code
- In E-Commerce go to File > Product Catalog Download .
- Filter or sort the list to locate records with a blank Product Code (if available).
- Use the Tag function to select the records you want to remove.
- Use the action on the download screen to remove the tagged records.
Notes:
- Deleting download records removes them from the download list. It does not change product records that are already in your Products file.
- If you routinely see blank Product Code records, review your supplier feed configuration and contact RFMS Support if needed.
