Transit Time Adjustment lets you set an expected transit time, measured in days, from a supplier to a specific store for a specific Product Code. This gives E-Commerce a consistent way to calculate expected arrival dates when supplier documents may not provide one.
Why Setting this up Matters
Not every supplier includes a clear expected delivery date on acknowledgements or advance shipping notices. By maintaining transit days in E-Commerce, you can use a consistent estimate for when material should arrive based on the supplier, the destination store, and the type of product being ordered. This is most useful for dealer teams that regularly reference purchase order status and need a predictable “when should it get here” expectation.
Set Up a Transit Time Adjustment
- Go to E-Commerce > Utilities > Setup > Transit Time Adjustment.
- Select the Supplier.
- Select the Store.
- Select the Product Code.
- In Adjust Transit Time, enter the number of days to add or subtract in Adjust Selected Promise Date (Plus/Minus days).
- Click Update.
- Confirm the new entry appears in the Transit Time table.
Update or Remove an Existing Adjustment
To change an adjustment, select the existing row in the Transit Time Table, enter the new number of days in the bottom left, and click Update.
